This includes without limitation those specifically referenced in the ‘Proper Usage of M25 Group Service’ section below. You must abide by all relevant legislation concerning telephone marketing and observe the industry-specific codes of practice for any such activity. In addition, you must comply with all laws relating to the recording of phone calls and ensure the appropriate consent is obtained before making any recording.
When making calls using the M25 Group Service, you are obliged to make sure you comply with all the applicable industry standards. In the UK, this is the Telecommunications (Data Protection and Privacy) Regulations 1999. This document stipulates that telemarketers should not call people who have indicated directly to the company or by registering with the TPS that they do not wish to receive marketing calls. In addition, you are prohibited from using or permitting access to use the M25 Group Service to make emergency calls or to provide or seek emergency services.
