16.1 Inventory or Receipt Provision: If you’re moving items into storage with us, we’ll take the time to create a detailed list of your possessions, known as an inventory, or alternatively provide you with a receipt. This document will be handed over to you during your move into storage. Be aware, however, that there is a fee associated with crafting this inventory.
16.2 Verification and Accuracy: We strive to ensure that our inventory is exhaustive and precise. It’s essential that you review it before our team departs from your location. If you don’t raise any concerns or discrepancies with us right away, we’ll take that as confirmation that the inventory is spot-on and agreeable.
16.3 Charges and Communication: Just a heads-up – our standard moving rates don’t cover the creation of an inventory. This is an extra service that comes with its own fee. We pride ourselves on clear communication, and we’ll drop you an email to let you know about the option of having an inventory made. But it’s up to you to let us know – in writing – whether you’d like to avail of this service or opt-out.
16.4 Waiver and Accountability: Should you decide to skip the inventory creation, we need you to understand that any later claims about missing items won’t be on M25. It’s all about making sure both sides are clear and protected.
In a Nutshell: An inventory is an excellent way to keep track and have peace of mind. If you opt for it, there’s a fee, but if you decide to forgo, then it’s vital to know the implications. Always keep the communication lines open – it makes everything smoother!
