In our pursuit of environmental responsibility, we’ve transitioned to using recyclable, multi-use plastic crates. These crates, while eco-friendly, come at a premium. We’re happy to loan them to you, but we have set clear conditions for their use and return.
20.1 Our crates are loaned out to all clients for a duration of seven days, regardless of the moving day. They must be returned in the same condition they were loaned out.
20.2 If you are unable to have the crates ready for collection on the predetermined date, you must inform us in advance. Failure to notify us will result in a £120 inconvenience charge.
20.3 If the crates are not ready for collection on a predetermined day, a daily delay charge of £1 per crate will apply. These charges will continue to accrue until we successfully collect the crates. Barring any extraordinary circumstances, we assure you that the next collection won’t exceed the following Sunday.
20.4 If any crate is lost, damaged, or returned in a condition other than when loaned, a charge of £25 per affected crate will be levied.
20.7 Storing crates outside in an unsecured area without our explicit written permission is considered mistreatment. Any such action will result in a £160 charge.
In essence: Our environmentally friendly crates are loaned out under strict conditions. Always ensure they’re ready for return in good condition within the specified timeframe to avoid additional charges. Your cooperation aids our sustainable efforts.
