7.1 Change of Heart or Plans? No Sweat!
Life can be unpredictable, and plans change. We’ve rethought our approach to give you more flexibility without hurting your wallet. Here’s the scoop:
7.1.1 The Winter Heat:
Our cancellation policy takes a vacation from the 1st of September to the 31st of May each year. You’re free to cancel without any penalties!
7.1.2 Give Us a Heads Up:
While we won’t charge you for postponing or cancelling, we’d be grateful if you could give us as much notice as possible. This helps us juggle our schedule and ensure other clients aren’t left hanging.
7.1.2/2 The However: Please note that if you cancel 24 hours before your move, you will be charged for a minimum of two hours.
7.1/2/3 The Respect: Please note that if you cancel once the van and team are at your location, you will be charged 50% of your move total or 385.00, whichever is greater.
7.1.3 Refunds Galore:
If you’ve paid any deposit and need a refund, we’ve got two good news for you:
a) There are absolutely no charges for refunds made via bank transfer.
b) Refunds are done with immediate effect (24 hours or less); the rest is up to your bank.
7.1.4 The Nitty-Gritty: June 1st to August the 31st
If you need to make any changes, just drop us an email. Here’s a quick rundown on how things will work:
a) Way in Advance (7+ days): Changing plans more than a week before the move? No extra charges, but any deposit paid won’t be refunded.
b) Getting Closer (3-7 days): If things shift between 3 to 7 days before the move, up to 75% of the removal charge could apply.
c) Last Minute (Less than 3 days): If you’re making changes in the eleventh hour (less than 3 days before), the entire quoted amount (minus any deposit or payments made) might be on the table.
d) Payment Methods: Any charges that do pop up will be taken from your credit or debit card.
e) The Storage Move: If you’re looking to move things out of storage, just let us know a week ahead of time, and we’ll be all set.
