Rescheduling, Refunds, and Rolling with the Punches (Charges If You Postpone Or Cancel)

Life’s messy. Plans move. Completions collapse. We get it.
But vans, teams, and Fridays don’t magically grow on trees — so here’s how we keep it fair for everyone.

Changing Your Moving Date #

We’ll move your date for free, as long as we have availability. To lock in any date, we require a 20% deposit. Because we’re holding that slot for you, notice matters:

  • Over 10 days’ notice: Free date change. We’ll just shift it over.

  • 7 to 10 days’ notice: 50% of your deposit is refunded, the other 50% is forfeited. You’ll need to put down a fresh 20% deposit to secure the new date.

  • Below 7 days’ notice: This counts as a cancellation, and your entire deposit is forfeited.

  • Putting the job “on hold”: * Over 10 days: We hold the original deposit. You’ll pay an additional 20% to secure the new date later, but both count toward your final bill. If you eventually cancel entirely, all deposits are forfeited.

    • 7 to 10 days: 50% of the deposit is refunded, 50% is forfeited. You’ll start fresh with a new 20% deposit when you’re ready.

    • Below 7 days: Original deposit is completely forfeited. You’ll need a brand new 20% deposit to rebook later.

Cancellations #

If you cancel your move outright:

  • Over 10 days’ notice: Your 20% deposit is refunded in full.

  • 7 to 10 days’ notice: You get a 50% refund of your deposit. The other half is forfeited.

  • Below 7 days’ notice: The deposit is completely non-refundable. Simple as that.

Last-Minute Bookings (48 hours or less) #

Last-minute moves are a different beast. To confirm a job on short notice, we require:

  • Full payment upfront

  • Paid by bank transfer only

  • Strictly non-refundable

These bookings carry much higher risks of last-minute cancellations and chargebacks—this policy keeps things clean and fair for both sides.

Completion Date Delays #

If your completion collapses (which happens daily):

  • We’ll put your booking on hold until your new date is confirmed.

  • Over 10 days’ notice: Full refund of your deposit.

  • 7 to 10 days’ notice: 50% of your deposit is refunded, 50% is forfeited.

  • Below 7 days’ notice: Your original 20% deposit is forfeited completely because that time slot is lost to us.

  • When you’re ready to go again, you’ll pay a new 20% deposit to secure the fresh date (unless you were outside the 10-day window, in which case we just roll it over).

We stay flexible, just not magical.

“We Cancelled on You” – Fair’s Fair #

If we ever have to cancel your move from our end:

  • Your deposit is refunded in full.

  • No admin fees, no excuses, no drama.

Fair is fair.

Refunds (When They Apply) #

For eligible refunds:

  • Bank transfers: Zero admin fees.

  • Speed: We issue the refund from our end within 24 hours.

  • The Catch: Your bank’s processing speed is outside our control (could be instant, could be… not).

Storage Moves #

If you’re moving out of storage, we need 7 days’ notice to get everything pulled, checked, staged, and ready.

Conclusion: #

We’re flexible — but we’re not psychic.
Moves take vans, crews, planning, and a bit of sanity.
Respect our time the way we respect yours, and everything runs like butter.

You plan.
We prep.
Everybody wins.
