Life’s messy. Plans move. Completions collapse. We get it.
But vans, teams, and Fridays don’t magically grow on trees — so here’s how we keep it fair for everyone.

Changing Your Moving Date #

We’ll move your date for free, as long as we have availability.
But the type of deposit you paid matters:

Friday Moves (20% deposit) #

• More than 7 working days’ notice: Free date change.

• Less than 7 working days: Counts as a cancellation → deposit forfeited.

• If you put the job “on hold”: The original deposit is forfeited. When you’re ready again, a new 20% deposit is required to rebook.

All Other Days (£5 deposit) #

• Free date change.

• No penalty.

• Just give us a bit of notice so we can reshuffle the chessboard.

Cancellations #

If you cancel your move outright:

Friday Moves (20% deposit) #

• More than 7 working days’ notice: Deposit is refunded in full.

• Less than 7 working days: Deposit is forfeited. Simple as that.

All Other Days (£5 deposit) #

• The £5 is non-refundable.

• No extra fees for cancelling early.

Last-Minute Bookings (48 hours or less) #

Last-minute moves are a different beast.
To confirm the job, we require:

• Full payment upfront

• Paid by bank transfer only

• Non-refundable

These bookings carry higher risks of cancellations and chargebacks — so this keeps it clean for both sides.

Completion Date Delays #

If your completion collapses (it happens daily in London):

• We’ll put your booking on hold until your new date is confirmed.

• If done within the 7 working days frame, your original 20% deposit is forfeited — because the slot is lost. If outside – full refund. 

• When you’re ready again, you’ll pay a new 20% to secure the fresh date.

We stay flexible, just not magical.

“We Cancelled on You” – Fair’s Fair #

If we ever need to cancel your move:

• Any deposit you paid is refunded in full.

• No admin fees, no excuses, no drama.

Fair is fair.

Refunds (When They Apply) #

For eligible refunds:

• Bank transfers: No admin fees

• Refunds are issued by us within 24 hours

• Your bank’s speed is outside our control (could be instant, could be… not)

Storage Moves #

If you’re moving out of storage, we need 7 days’ notice to get everything pulled, checked, staged, and ready.

Conclusion: #

We’re flexible — but we’re not psychic.
Moves take vans, crews, planning, and a bit of sanity.
Respect our time the way we respect yours, and everything runs like butter.
