Section 2: Navigating Our Charges

Money talk doesn’t need to be complicated. Here’s exactly how we charge, what’s included, and where extras apply. No hidden tricks, no creative accounting.

The Terms:

2.1 Overview of Charges

  • All commercial moves are charged on a fixed-quote basis (no hourly rates).

  • Pricing is based on:

    • Volume (measured in cubic feet).

    • Labour (number of movers required).

    • Logistics (vehicles, access, travel, fuel, maintenance).

  • Weekend and public holiday moves attract a minimum 15% surcharge, confirmed before booking.

  • VAT is charged on all services.

2.2 Payment Process

  • Payments are made by secure online link or bank transfer.

  • We do not store card details or take payments over the phone.

  • All transactions are logged and receipted.

2.3 Estimates vs Quotations

  • Estimates (given by phone or digitally) are preliminary only and may change based on the actual scope.

  • Fixed Quotations (issued after a site survey) are binding, provided no undisclosed conditions arise.

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue.

2.4 Adjustments & Extras

  • Quotes may be adjusted if:

    • Site conditions differ from the survey (e.g., restricted access, unexpected stairs).

    • Delays are caused by building management, client readiness, or parking restrictions.

    • Fines or permits are incurred on the day.

  • Any such adjustments will be logged and agreed on-site with your appointed representative.

2.5 Additional Services

  • Optional services (packing, IT handling, handyman, cleaning, etc.) can be added for an extra charge.

  • These must be requested and confirmed before the move date.

2.6 Resource Readiness

  • Vehicle and crew allocation is based on the survey.

  • If more resources are required on the day to complete the job safely, additional charges will apply.

Special Note:
Charges do not include customs, duties, or government fees. Any such costs remain the responsibility of the client.

We keep the money conversation as clear as your local café menu: what you order is what you pay for. If something unexpected comes up, we’ll tell you straight away and agree before moving forward.
