Our packing team could drone on about this for ages, boring you rigid with all the details. To keep things simple, the type of packing and the quality you’re going to need is decided using the following three criteria:

The quality of your stuff:

If your home is furnished with expensive antiques, it’s essential to pack them with the most outstanding care. If you’re like my family, with growing kids and pets and only buy a flat-pack, then it’s not going to break your heart if it gets dented or scratched during the move. Having said that, at M25 Movers, we take the utmost care with every stick of furniture we move, never mind how much it costs.     

The distance between the old and new home:

If you’re moving just a short distance, say in the same city or area, it’s often quicker to loosely pack your items in the van and take two trips than pack and risk damaging things by packing too tightly. When moving long distances, everything in the truck needs to be tightly packed with the proper protection. We don’t want the van to become a giant blender with all your precious things crashing about inside.     

The volume of goods

We like to make sure we have the right size van for the job. We prefer to have it tightly packed for long-distance moves, with the appropriate protective packing and wrapping. It’s not worth the risk of having your stuff moving and possibly being damaged.
