A: We split the move into two manageable days for efficiency and sanity!
– On the first day, we pack and load everything onto our vans, which then head to a secure warehouse overnight—nothing stays in your old home, so you’ll need to find a cosy spot to crash for the night.
– Bright and early on the second day, we roll out from our base, aiming to start unloading by noon at the latest to align with your schedule.
Why: Let’s paint a picture: Loading up at 8 AM and spending 4 hours, then enduring a 200-mile, 5-hour drive? By the time we’d start unloading (around 5 PM), it’d be a late, gruelling finish around 8 or 9 PM, and then they have another 5-hour drive back to base. Nobody wants to settle into their new home with cranky kids and curious neighbours peering through the curtains. Instead, imagine vacating your home on Day 1, relaxing in a charming B&B, 🏖 and then enjoying a hearty English breakfast. Meet us refreshed at 11 AM for a calm unpacking session in your new place. End the day with a smile, a wave, and perhaps a friendly tip, all while your kids frolic in the enormous new garden that costs as much as a week’s groceries in London. Now, that’s moving done right!
