Any claim involving jewellery, cash, or other small valuable items will be denied; also, if a contractor or service provider has been working in your home at the time of the move or between the move and when you discover any damage. As we said before, a claim made more than seven days after the move will be automatically rejected; also, if the claim is for items valued at less than £250.
