Moving into storage
The idea is to take something so complex and emotionally charged as moving your home or part of it into a storage unit and living for the next few months out of suitcases and to try to make it as pain-free and straightforward as possible, giving you complete control.
When people start dealing with their move, we know that many get the ‘deer in the headlight’ syndrome. It’s because there’s so much to do, and they don’t know where to start.
We’ve identified three deciding factors to create the perfect moving experience to make things easier.
Vans
All our vans come with the necessary equipment and then some. You need some last-minute packing? Done. Tools to take that bed apart? Done.
Our fleet have two types of vans;
LONDON’S VAN: Smaller vans to better handle the streets of London and more important – the parking. Each of those vans can comfortably carry 650 cubic feet of goods. To put it another way, that’s about as much stuff you have in a typical two-bedroom home without any live plants or patio furniture.
CROSS COUNTRY: We use those vans mainly for clients with 3 bedroom homes who are moving outside London, you know, to be close to parents and smell the fresh country air. Those vans have 2.5 times the volume capacity. To put it another way, that’s about as much stuff you have in a 3-4 bedroom home with all live plants and patio furniture. The only downside is that they are very hard to park and don’t fit 65% of London’s streets.
The Driver/ Team
We take great pride in knowing our drivers and teams are the best in the business. There’s a small village in Romania with a giant, golden statue of our founder-seriously! The men and women of the village are born movers.
It’s a trade that’s gone from father to son for generations and they’re working for us! And we are so good at training them that today, ten years down the road, half of all removal companies in north London use people who were trained by us. As a matter of fact, moving as you know it was first introduced by M25 Movers!
Joking aside, the guys working for us might not be great conversationalists, but they are great movers!
The Home
Andrew Mellen, a professional organizer (i know, right?) said: “Being organized isn’t about getting rid of everything you own or trying to become a different person. It’s about living the way you want to live – but better…” It reflects our philosophy of storage moves.
Nothing affects the success of your move more than how ready YOU get your home;
-
Did you pack all the goods?
Putting them in a large IKEA bag does not constitute packing.
-
Did you declutter unnecessary items?
No one listens to CDs anymore!
-
Did you arrange for parking?
It doesn’t help if we need to spend 20 minutes looking for a spot, or even worse, parking far from your home.
Disassembly, though offered as standard; it’s the most time-consuming process in an average move. Think about it, wouldn’t you rather have the team loading the heavy items into the van than spending 30 minutes stripping down shelves or beds?

How to Make a Reservation
Step 1
Go through the questions, answering them as best you can. Once done, you’ll reach the move summary page.
Step 2
Based on the information there, you’ll be able to make an educated decision on which of the three packages suits you best.
Step 3
Choose a package, pay a deposit, legs on the desk. Like a boss.

Packing
Even if you don’t use our packing service, we advise clients to use our labels to mark their boxes. You’ve no idea how much time it saves on unloading! Declutter your home yourself, or use our friendly and affordable decluttering service.
Then there is the parking to arrange unless of course, you choose our parking service.
There is no additional charge for disassembly (and reassembly on the other end) but please keep in mind that these are time-consuming processes.
Moving Day
As soon as the team arrives, please give them the grand tour of the house. Make sure any personal belongings you don’t want them to load are stored in a designated area.
Provide them with contact information, and feel free to leave. They’ll call you when it’s time to get going.
Make sure to do a walkthrough after they’re done loading. No one wants to come back for a box.

Make sure to perform a walkthrough in the house after they’re done loading. No one wants to come back for an unnoticed box.
Moving Day
Packing work is included in this package though it is always recommended to do some decluttering of your home before the movers get there.
Disassembly (and reassembly on the other end) are included in this rate so no worries. Really the only thing you need to do is organize parking for our van on both days.

Revenge of the Stairs
Out top package, recommended to everyone with a three-bedroom home and up. It includes all packing work and supply and a detailed inventory of each item, boxes, and content.
However, it is essential to know that though we can get it done in one day in some cases (homes over two bedrooms), it will be better to split it over two days, with the first half dedicated to packing work and general organization of the home.
